The balance between form and function, a forever on-going debate in the world of design, is what inspires the work of Aarhus based architect Mikkel Lang and photographer Soffy Dombernowsky. Their Danish design studio searches for the contrast between the purity of functionalism and a sensitive artistic touch.
An experimental approach
The first collection of About Form and Function consists of handblown glass vases in a multitude of colors. Experimenting with materials, design and aesthetic, the duo put out a very organic and clear product line. Their production process consists of a very basic workflow, achieving the most honest and efficient output as a result. Beautiful shapes, where form and function go hand in hand, will elevate your urban jungle to a new level.
