Cîme Hutspot

Based in Belgium

Cîme natural skincare makes your skin feel better than ever, in a fair way. The brand was born when father and daughter Walter and Anke did a trekking in the Indian Himalaya. They found locals have been using the powerful contents from the plants in this unique region for generations. This inspired the two travelers to combine this traditional knowledge with modern science in a fair business model, resulting in a beautiful series of products. A selection of products is now available at Hutspot Utrecht.

The Power of the Himalaya

The active ingredients in Cîme’s products are sourced from a variety of flowers and herbs are grown in the clean mountain air of the Himalaya. For example, wild roses, edelweiss and a range of other plants have adapted to survive harsh and extreme conditions. Intense sunlight and freezing cold give them a unique intensity.

Cîme and their local Partners

All ingredients are collected and cultivated sustainably in close collaboration with Nepalese farmers. They process all plants locally, which drastically lowers the product’s ecological footprint as only the concentrated oils and essences have to be transported. As a result, these farmers build their local economies sustainably.

A cleansing, clean product

Cîme believes no synthetic additive can beat a natural one. Because of this, you won’t find any parabens, synthetic perfumes or silicone on their labels. Also, they maximize the use of natural and certified organic ingredients, which has resulted in their products receiving the ECOCERT label. Finally, each product has to pass (non-animal!) testing, so that you can be sure that what’s on your skin will always be the best of the best.

Proud partner of the Little Doctors-project

For every purchase, Cîme donates part of its proceeds to the ‘Little Doctors’-project in Nepal. This charity program educates school children in the fields of personal hygiene, diseases, first aid, and nutrition. Furthermore, the kids train to become little doctors who spread health awareness within their community.
